The Philadelphia Inquirer (Philly.com) – Rally Sports

Since January 2016, I’ve been working in the sports department at The Philadelphia Inquirer, specifically for the Rally (high school) sports desk. In this position, I am responsible for fielding phone calls from coaches and team managers to collect scores and statistics as well as use strong news judgment to build compelling daily round-ups for both print and online publication.

During my 2014 internship with Philadelphia Magazine’s Birds 24/7 blog, I produced content and worked as an assistant to two NFL beat reporters, Sheil Kapadia and Tim McManus.

Daily Local News

(Note: Some articles were also cross-published in the Delaware County Daily Times)

During my 2012 internship with the Daily Local News in West Chester, PA, I covered local high school sports which included writing game stories and compiling game statistics. I also put together a feature article, which ran as the Sunday main bar story, on two-time national champion judoka Nick Kossor who missed a chance at the 2012 London Olympics due to injury.
